You can read enki Library eBooks on your Windows desktop computer or laptop using:

Alternatively you can use Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) version 2.0 for Windows. Later versions of this software are not recommended due to privacy concerns.

Mac users can download:

If this is your first time using ADE, please complete Adobe Activation by creating an Adobe ID.

  1. I figure out by accident.... Not sure why it is not available in standard view. However, if you choose the mobile view, there is an option to download the epub. Hope it helps!

  2. Tech. Support really didn't explain much in their answer to this question. The answers (there's more than one way to do it) are in the Enki tutorial, which is here (http://www.kslibplus.info/articulate/ENKI-CA/story.html). In most cases, you can find the My Account link at the top right of every page, and click it to find all the books that are checked out to you. Find the book you want to read and look to the right; there should be 2 buttons: Read Online and Download. As far as I know, both options will allow you to read the book on your desktop or laptop, just using different programs. Read Online might be easiest because you won't have to install any additional software; you'll just be reading the book in your web browser.

  3. After checking out the book (and ensuring you have the BlueFire or Adobe Digital apps for Windows, Mac is Adobe only), go to My Account on the SJPL Library site - there you'll see a button to download the .acsm file. Double-click on that .acsm file or open it in either BlueFire or Adobe and your book will appear in that application.
